New York - SiriusXM is adding
interactive features to its Internet radio app for Android devices and
expanding the lineup of Internet-streamed content.

Feature updates to the app include
the ability to replay up to five hours of previously broadcast programming. Other
updates let users start songs and shows from the beginning when they change
channels. Users can also pause, skip forward and rewind previously broadcast
content.

Users also get access to an expanded
SiriusXM channel lineup, including SiriusXM Latino channels and live
play-by-play from the NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA, NASCAR and PGA Tour.

The app is free, but the service
itself is subscription-based.

The enhancements are but the
first to be announced this year, said Jim Meyer, operations and sales president.
"We will continue to evolve our SiriusXM Internet radio offerings this year by
adding greater functionality on smartphones, mobile devices and online,"
he said.

The update is part of the
continuing rollout of SiriusXM 2.0, which the company called "a major upgrade
and evolution of SiriusXM's satellite and Internet-delivered service that will
ultimately span hardware, software, audio, and data services."

Key new features of the Android
app include:

Start Now, which lets users go back in time up to 5 hours to listen
to previously broadcast programming on many channels;

Tune Start, which automatically starts the currently playing song
from the beginning when a user tunes to any music channel;

Pause of live radio with ability to pick up where the listener left
off;

Replay a song or segment with a single click, or skip forward to
hear what's playing next and;

Show Finder, an electronic programming guide offering a complete
list of what's on over the next seven days by channel. Users can set reminder
alerts when favorite shows are broadcast.
