Sirius XM Increases Income, Subs

New York – Sirius XM experienced positive second-quarter growth, posting a
net income of $15.3 million on sales of $705 million.

The positive net income for the quarter, ended June 30, compares
favorably to the $159.6 million loss shown during the same period last year.

For the first six months of 2010 Sirius XM has generated a net
income of $56.8 million, compared to a loss of $212.3 million the prior year.

The company’s subscriber numbers totaled 19.5 million at the end
of the quarter, a net addition of 583,249. The monthly subscriber churn rate
was 1.8 percent and average revenue per customer was $11.81, an 11 percent
increase from the second quarter of 2009.
