New York — Sirius Satellite Radio announced it surpassed 700,000 subscribers as of October 18 and remains on track to reach one million subscribers by the end of the year.
Sirius added that September was the company’s best month to date, with a net gain of 69,000 subscribers.
Sirius’ rival XM Satellite Radio remains the market leader with 2.5 million subscribers, expected to exceed 3.1 million by the end of the year.
