SIRAS Expands Exec Staff

2/10/2011 10:20:54 AM Eastern

Redmond, Wash. -
SIRAS, developers of point-of-sale (POS) Electronic Product Registration
technology, has expanded its staff.

The first three
new positions represent SIRAS's initiative to increase penetration and broaden
the scope of its patented technologies across a greater number of industries
and retailers.

In its business and
retail development teams, SIRAS has named Beth Turtle emerging business
director, focusing on the development and execution of new business strategies.

Nick Schmitt has
been hired as retail account executive and will assist with retailer-program
support, including asset-protection programs.

Bre Holley, a
former executive with Bose, Casio and Philips Consumer Electronics, will lead SIRAS's
efforts to expand the company's retail customer base.

Turtle will look
to expand into product categories outside consumer electronics, as well as
services beyond POS Electronic Product Registration.  Prior to joining SIRAS, Turtle worked
extensively in the defense and technology industries, holding positions at Aerojet
among other aerospace companies.

Schmitt, who
previously worked at Columbia Sportsware, The Sports Authority and in law
enforcement, will support SIRAS' law enforcement product, SIRAS P.I., and work
as a liaison between retailers and law enforcement agencies.

In other personnel
announcements Katie Shaw has moved into the position of account manager for
enterprise services, and Bob Desrochers has been hired to step into Shaw's
former position as account executive selling SIRAS services to new
manufacturers.

Shaw, who
previously acted as a sales account executive for new client acquisition, will
turn her focus to managing the accounts of existing SIRAS clients and expanding
their use of the company's full portfolio of data-based business services.

Desrochers joins
the company from ESPN Radio.
