SIM2 To Unveil Superlumis 3D Projector

Miramar, Florida — SIM2 USA is using a stop in Los Angeles on its World Road Show Tour for custom installers to formally introduce its Superlumis 3D video projector.

SIM2 is calling the Superlumis “its new benchmark,” offering a three-chip (three 0.95-inch DC4 digital micro mirror devices) DLP light engine, 3D capability using 144Hz TripleFlash technology, SIM2 DynamicBlack technology, 30,000:1 contrast ratio (with DynamicBlack and EC lens type in 2D), Perfect Fit feature, which displays 2.35/2.40:1 aspect ratio video material by resizing the image to fill the screen without an anamorphic lens, and up to 5,000 ANSI lumens brightness with an HB lens type or up to 3,800 ANSI lumens with an EC lens type.

The Superlumis carries a $60,000 suggested retail price and is available immediately.

The invitation-only Los Angeles partner showcase for custom installer/dealers will run Aug. 21-22 at the Actors Center of the Screen Actors Guild Foundation.

SIM2 dealers will have access to products, information and new business opportunities.

“This event marks a special moment for SIM2, with the world launch of the new Superlumis,” said Maurizio Cini, SIM2 Multimedia CEO and president. “What better place to announce the evolution of the award-winning Lumis Series than in the heart of Hollywood?”

In addition to demonstrating the Superlumis, the event will also feature the previously introduced 4K Cinemaquattro, SIRIO, M.150, and limited edition, ultra-exclusive Fuoriserie projectors.

The U.S. portion of the tour concludes Sept. 4-5, in the Penthouse of the Waldorf Astoria, in New York City.
