Canton, Mass. - Shelley Miller has left his post as senior VP of Tweeter Home Entertainment Group to pursue personal interests after nearly 25 years in CE retail.
Miller, the former president and principal of United Audio Centers, joined the company after the Chicago-based specialty A/V retailer was acquired by Tweeter 19 months ago.
Miller had assumed additional responsibility for marketing, purchasing, corporate sales and interior store design and layout in November. Tweeter has no immediate plans to fill his post.
Tweeter president/CEO Jeff Stone said Miller's work at both businesses "has been greatly appreciated. All his friends at Tweeter wish him well as he starts a new chapter in his career."
In a written statement, Miller noted that his time at Tweeter and United Audio Centers, and his years of service as both a president and board member of the Progressive Retailers Organization (PRO Group), "have been very rewarding. I've enjoyed working with an extraordinary team of executives who will provide a seamless transition as I move on."
