Mahwah, N.J. — Sharp Electronics said it has cut prices on select AQUOS LCD TV models.
The price moves, which are in effect now, were made to 17 SKUs and include both 4:3 and 16:9 widescreen HDTV models.
Tony Favia, AQUOS’ senior product manager, said the reductions resulted from Sharp’s “superior manufacturing capabilities.”
Models receiving price cuts on manufacturer’s suggested retail prices include the following:
- The 13-inch LC-13B6U-S, previously $549.99, is available now for $499.99.
- The 13-inch LC-13S1U-S/B/W, previously $499.99, is available now for $449.99.
- The 15-inch LC-15B6U-S, previously $649.99, is available now for $599.99.
- The 15-inch LC-15S1U-S, previously $599.99, is available now for $549.99.
- The 20-inch LC-20B8U-S, a new model, is available now for $1,099.99.
- The 20-inch LC-20B9U-S, previously $1,199.99, is now available for $1,099.99.
- The 20-inch LC-20S4U-S, previously $999.99, is now available for $899.99.
- The 26W-inch LC-26GA5U, previously $1,999.99, is now available for $1,799.99.
- The 26W-inch LC-26D5U, previously $2,499.99, is now available for $2,099.99.
- The 26W-inch LC-26D7U, previously $2,599.99, is now available for an MSRP of $2,199.99.
- The 32W-inch LC-32GA5U, previously $2,999.99, is now available for $2,799.99.
- The 32W-inch LC-32D5U, previously $3,399.99, is now available $3,099.99.
- The 32W-inch LC-32D7U, previously $3,499.99, is now available for $3,199.99.
- The 37W-inch LC-37GB5U, previously $4,999.99, is now available for $4,499.99.
