Service Tracks Wii, PS3 Supplies

Columbus, Ohio – Those not fortunate enough to have purchased a Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) or Nintendo’s Wii video game console when they went on sale, now have a little help in tracking one down before the holidays.

Web-shopping service myTriggers.com has launched three new Web sites designed to help holiday shoppers find hard-to-find items at the price they want to pay.

The sites target the PS3 and Wii consoles, plus the popular toy T.M.X. Elmo. Each site uses the myTriggers online comparison shopping engine to connect consumers directly to the databases of thousands of online merchants and to provide real-time pricing and in-stock information:

The new sites include the following:

PS3 –– a site that tracks the latest PS3 offerings from thousands of online merchants around-the-clock and displays them in a single listing.

Wii –– a site that tracks Nintendo’s hot console at the best price.

T.M.X. Elmo – a site that follows this year’s iteration of the popular Sesame Street toy.

MyTriggers.com offers instant access to more than 100 million items from more than 1 million online sellers including: Wal-Mart, Sony, Apple, Office Depot, Overstock.com, Amazon.com, Buy.com, and eBay.

The service provides the most competitive prices on the Web. Since it is connected directly to retailers’ real-time inventory—not to Web bots or spiders—consumers get pricing on items that are actually in stock.

MyTriggers sited a ComScore study predicting this year’s busiest online shopping day will be either Dec. 11 or Dec. 12. Last year, the busiest day was Dec. 12.
