Old Lyme, Conn. — Sennheiser launched a high-end Bluetooth headset on Thursday, meant for wireless and Unified Communications users.
The Presence headset, which uses Bluetooth 4.0 and has an 82-foot range, features Sennheiser’s SpeakFocus and WindSafe sound technologies. The former detects the user’s voice while filtering out background noise, and the latter reduces wind noise by choosing the best mix of the headset’s three microphones and processing the sound.
The headset comes with a USB dongle for consumers who want to switch between wireless use and a Unified Communications client.
Talk time is listed at 10 hours. Suggested retail is $179.
