Sanyo Intros Low Cost LCD Projector

Denver — Sanyo introduced today at the CEDIA Expo a low-cost 1080p front projector.

The PLC Z2000 1080p will ship in October for $2,995.

It features Sanyo’s proprietary Topaz Real HD 3D color management system that can create 1,100 times more color combinations then the company’s 720p PLCZ5 projector. The new model is rated at 1,200 lumens, delivers a 15,000:1 contrast ratio, full 1,920 by 1,080 high-definition resolution and has HDMI, D-sub, composite and S-Video inputs.
