Milpitas, Calif. — SanDisk increased its second-quarter revenue to $827 million, the company said today.
The increase represents a 15 percent gain vs. the second quarter last year.
Net income for the flash firm was $28 million vs. $96 million in the year-ago quarter. Price-per-megabyte declined 65 percent on a year-over-year basis, the company said.
The average flash-memory card capacity was 1, 475MB in the second quarter — a 95 percent jump from the second quarter of 2006.
