Plainfield, Ind. — Brightpoint announced today that it will supply SanDisk flash memory cards to its dealers.
SanDisk has been pushing its mobile phone formats, including MicroSD, MiniSD, and other reduced sized cards, to carrier stores and other points of mobile phone sales. The Brightpoint deal gives the flash memory maker access to Brightpoint’s network of independent wireless dealers, retailers, MVNOs, operators and VARs.
“Flash memory is one of the key accessory products for Brightpoint and the wireless marketplace as the number of devices that support mobile content increases,” said Brightpoint sales and distribution senior VP, Mitch Black in a statement announcing the deal.
