Ridgefield, N.J. – Samsung Electronics America is sponsoring the Acura Classic tennis tournament, a tune-up for the U.S. Open, to be held July 27 to August 4 at the La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.
The tournament will feature the world’s top female tennis players, including Venus Williams, Jennifer Capriati, Lindsay Davenport, Monica Seles, Anna Kournikova, Conchita Martinez and Mary Pierce, among others.
During the tournament, Samsung will showcase its latest consumer electronics and information technology products at the Acura Gallery tent located near the main courts. Fans and visitors will have the opportunity to see live demonstrations of Samsung rear-projection TVs, HDTVs, flat-screen LCD TVs, plasma displays, DVD players, camcorders, digital audio players, mobile phones, flat-panel PC monitors and other new products.
