Samsung Bows PrintCycle Recycling Program

New York — Samsung Electronics America has launched a printing and toner recycling program aimed at businesses called PrintCycle.
The new program is said to be part of Samsung’s newly redesigned PrintCentives campaign, meant to offer “increased benefits and convenience to the end user through their participating Samsung reseller,” according to a release.

PrintCycle has been launched as an attempt by Samsung to reduce the consumption of natural resources. The program will offer participating businesses a three-year product refresh, along with a toner purchase and recycle program. According to Samsung, “This program extends the environmentally friendly functions of the printers, such as duplexing and toner-saving features that are standard on the professional products offered through this program.”

“Samsung is continuously trying to find ways to be environmentally friendly,” said Jay Shears, marketing director, digital printing systems, Samsung Electronics America, in a release. “By offering easy ways to help the business professional support environmentally safe options, we are providing a service to our customers and continuing commitment to the environment.”
