Sakar Ships Underwater Camcorder

Sakar International has introduced a competitively priced compact digital
camcorder for underwater use under its Vivitar brand.

Sakar’s promotionally priced Vivitar DVR690HD underwater pocket camcorder

The waterproof
Vivitar DVR690HD can shoot 720p, 30 fps video and 5-megapixel still photos in
depths of up to 10 feet, and features digital image stabilization, 4x digital zoom
and 32GB SD card capacity.

The pocket
camcorder has a 2-inch diagonal LCD screen, is HDMI compatible, and operates
within a temperature range of 32 degrees to more than 100 degrees, Sakar said.

The unit ships
with editing software and USB and composite A/V cables, and carries a suggested
retail of $60.

Sakar's Vivitar
line of digital cameras and accessories is distributed to national chains
including Kmart, RadioShack, Target, Staples, Walmart and other major
