Sakar Debuts ‘Pink’ Accessories Line

Edison, N.J. — Sakar International announced its Pink line of CE accessories.

The line is part of its Girl Gear label and is positioned toward tween girls.

Products, all titled Pink Daisy, include a gel mousepad, VGA Web cam, PC-compatible headset, optical USB mouse, speaker system and compact keyboard.

The mousepad has a $14.99 suggested retail and provides a gel wrist-support pad.

Featuring a built-in microphone that enables users to chat live on instant messaging or Internet calls, the Web cam ($24.99) is PC compatible and records videos for email.

The PC-compatible headset has an ear piece that is designed to be comfortable and a flexible microphone. It retails for a suggested $14.99.

Retailing for a suggested $19.99, the optical USB mouse features zoom control and three faceplates. It is both PC and Mac compatible.

The Pink Daisy speaker system is designed to provide high-quality sound for PCs, gaming systems, stereos, CD players and MP3 players. It operates using USB or conventional power and has a $29.99 suggested retail.

Finally, the compact USB keyboard ($29.99) features “spill-resistant technology,” said the company. It comes with 11 hot keys for Windows and Internet shortcuts.

All of the products will become available in the beginning of 2008.

Sakar announced last week it would be launching a line of earth-friendly accessories products and packaging.
