Rydeen, Brandmotion Ship Rearview Camera Systems

New York – Rydeen Mobile Electronics and
Brandmotion have shipped new rearview camera systems.

Brandmotion of Ann Arbor, Mich., shipped the
$849.95 rear-view camera kit for the 2011-2012 Cadillac CTS and 2010-2012 Chevy
Equinox. The kit is targeted to consumers who want rear-vision systems but,
when buying a new vehicle, don’t want to upgrade to an expensive trim level to
get a rearview system.

The kit, model 9002-9620, features auto-dimming
mirror with built-in 3.5-inch LCD color backup monitor and OnStar button. The
included camera comes with all mounting hardware, and the wiring is insulated
to factory standards.

The components match the fit, finish and
features of the vehicles’ factory-installed systems and retain all existing
vehicle features after installation, the company said. The kit carries a
warranty that matches the terms of the vehicle’s factory warranty.

 Brandmotion offers universal and
application-specific rearview camera systems, including a Ford Emblem Camera
that replaces the factory logo on the bed of most newer F-series trucks.

For its part, Rydeen of Torrance, Calif.,
shipped six MV311S-series rearview kits, which feature replacement mirror with
built-in 3.5-inch TFT color monitor. They’re priced from $290 to $550 depending
on features.

The new model features improved reliability
and select viewing enhancements over its predecessor, the company said. It can
also be upgraded with future enhancements such as temperature display, compass,
and auto dimming.

Different kits include different options for
an HD camera, license-plate camera and the like.
