RCA Mobile DTV Products Unveiled

Las Vegas – Digital Stream, licensee of the RCA brand for
portable TV products, used International CES to unveil four mobile Digital TV
products equipped with dual tuners to receive optimal picture quality both at
home and in motion.

The new products, which the company said will be shipping to
market shortly, include handheld TVs in both 3.5-inch and 7-inch screen sizes,
and an automobile-based Mobile DTV tuner designed to connect to car
infotainment systems.

The new RCA products tap into a new mobile broadcast signal currently
being delivered by more than 70 TV broadcasters across the country. The new
transmission system, called ATSC-Mobile/Handheld, will enable receiving digital
TV broadcasts while portable display devices are in motion at speeds exceeding
70 mph.

“Our new portable TVs will be the first handheld hybrid
television receivers in the U.S. market, and the new Mobile DTV functionality
makes it possible for viewers to enjoy their favorite programs as well as local
news, weather, and sports wherever they go,” said Chris Lee Digital Stream
sales and marketing VP.  “Whether
watching on a train, in the backseat of a car, or just relaxing at home, RCA
pocket TV sets will be ideal companions. We are closely monitoring the rollout

interested in bringing these new options to viewers.”
