Proton Jumps Back Into U.S. Market

Campbell, Calif. — Proton announced plans today to re-enter the North America TV market this summer with a line of LCD television.

Proton will market its products in through an exclusive arrangement with distributor Brix Labs, which will handle all marketing and sales duties for the TV line. The first two models expected to hit the United States are the 32-inch LX-32B1xx and 37-inch LC37A1xx. Each has a 1,080i/1,080p screen resolution.

Pricing was not released.
