promoted Dan Wakefield, a 14-year company veteran, to the position of national
sales manager.
He was director of sales for the
Eastern U.S.
Wakefield will maintain direct
responsibility for the company’s sales efforts in the East, but he will also be
responsible for promotion and sales planning throughout the Unites States.
The company also announced that Bill
Kinsella, sales director for the Central U.S., and Jim Caso, sales director for
the Western U.S., have been named national account managers. They will continue
to manage sales and promotions in their regions.
Wakefield’s CE career began 25 years
ago, and his positions included stints at Hi-Fi Buys of Akron, Ohio, New Image
Electronics of Cleveland, and Sound Advice of Dania, Fla. He joined Polk in 1996
as a product specialist.
