Polaroid Brand License Set For Photo Products

Minnetonka, Minn.

PLR IP Holdings,

the owner of the
Polaroid brand, said Wednesday that it completed an exclusive five-year brand
license agreement with Hong Kong-based consumer electronics manufacturer and
distributor Starlight Marketing, for instant photography products.

Products specified
under the agreement include Zink-enabled instant cameras and printers, Polaroid
300 instant cameras, digital still cameras, digital video cameras, digital
photo frames and Polaroid PoGo mobile products.

The deal gives
Starlight the authority to market the specified products under the Polaroid
brand name in the United States and Canada.

The photo agreement
follows previous partnerships between Starlight and PLR Holdings on the
manufacture and distribution of Polaroid-branded flat panel TVs for retail in
the U.S. and Canada.

Starlight also
manufactures and distributes Polaroid-branded stand-alone DVD and Blu-ray
players, portable DVD players, e-book readers, iPod docking stations and home-theater
systems.

Starlight has more
than 30 years experience designing and manufacturing consumer electronics
products for leading importers and retailers.

“We’re thrilled to
merge Polaroid’s unparalleled experience in the imaging space with Starlight’s
leadership in developing consumer electronic products,” stated Scott W. Hardy,
Polaroid’s president. “Polaroid-branded imaging products from Starlight will
deliver cutting-edge technologies that are synonymous with the world-class
Polaroid brand.”

Starlight
Marketing is a subsidiary of Starlight International Holdings, which was
established in 1969 as a manufacturer and distributor of consumer electronics
products.

The Starlight Group
has long-term relationships with various global mass retailers including Tesco,
Asda, Dixons and Argos in Europe, and Walmart, Best Buy, Target and Sears in
the U.S.

The Group serves
markets in North and South America, Europe, Asia and Africa, with a primary
focus in the U.S. and Europe.
