PNY Celebrates 25th Anniversary

Parsippany, N.J. – PNY Technologies will celebrate its 25

th

anniversary with a series of product specials, Facebook giveaways and company
celebrations.

PNY began in 1985 in Brooklyn,
N.Y., as PNY
Electronics, a “basement operation” that bought and sold memory chips, the
company said. It moved to its current headquarters in 1997.

“The PNY brand has consistently been
synonymous with quality and affordability, and as a company we are very
fortunate to have reached this milestone,” said Tony Gomez, sales and marketing
VP at PNY.  “It is quite an
accomplishment to be in business for a quarter of a century. This landmark
achievement represents PNY’s resilience in an ever-changing and highly competitive
industry, and only lays the foundation for a more prosperous future in the
market.”

The “Think Pink” promotional week began
yesterday in support of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation. PNY said it
will host a variety of activities, raffles and giveaways to support the cause.
Also, the company will donate 50 cents for every PNY Pink Ribbon Attaché flash
drive sold.
