PMA News: Eye-Fi Intros Next-Gen Wi-Fi Cards

Las Vegas — Wireless SD card maker Eye-Fi provided more details on its next-generation product, which offers video uploading to both Flickr and YouTube, at PMA, here.

The video capability, announced at International CES, will be delivered in a pair of 4GB SD cards. In addition to video, the cards will continue to offer the ability to automatically upload images to PCs and to over 25 photo-sharing Web sites.

They will be sold in a $79 Share version and a $99 Explore version, which will add geo-tagging for stills and video and access to hot spots in addition to personal home networks.

The existing 2GB Home and Share cards will remain on the market at the reduced price of $49 and $59, respectively.
