Beaverton, Ore. — Planar Systems said Tuesday it has extended its line of PL flat-panel PC monitors and PT touchscreens with model versions in white.
The line is said to be targeted at integrators who want to match LCDs and touchscreens with white computer systems.
The PT line features a five-wire resistive touchscreen and dual serial/USB touch interface in 15-inch, 17-inch and 19-inch standard 4:3 screen sizes.
The PL monitor line includes ergonomic adjustments and features including Multi-Mount Ready with built-in power supplies. Planar said the line is “particularly suited for educational and government environments where comfort of monitor use and limited space are critical concerns.”
The white monitors are available now through a variety of online and distribution partners and are backed by a three-year warranty, with free two-day advance replacement.
