Edmond, Okla. – Petra Industries, a distributor of CE,
custom installation products and related products held its 12th Annual Charity
Golf Tournament, which raised $60,000 to support Mercy Ministries of America
and Whiz Kids.
Bill Stewart, President/CEO of Petra Industries, presented
checks for $30,000 each to Nancy Alcorn, founder and president of Mercy
Ministries of America, and Masie Bross, program Director for Whiz Kids.
This year’s event featured 120 of Petra’s vendors, partners
and employees enjoying a cocktail reception and Texas Hold ‘Em tournament at
Fox & Hound Pub and Grille on October 6. Following the evening’s
festivities, all participants teed it up with a shotgun-start golf scramble at
Oak Tree Golf Country Club in Edmond, Okla., the morning of October 7.
The success of this Petra’s charity event was also due in
