Panasonic Ships Headphones

Secaucus, N.J. - Panasonic
released pricing and shipping information for several headphones, including an
addition to its noise-canceling line.

The over-ear RP-HC200
can reportedly reduce ambient noise by 81 percent (14dB at 200Hz). Battery life
with one AAA battery is listed at 60 hours, and they can operate when this
battery dies, Panasonic said.

Features include a
fold-flat design and a choice of four colors: black, white, green and yellow.
They're currently available for $79.99.

A DJ model, RP-DJS200
(May, $29.99), features reversible ear cups, "travel-fold" design and
adjustable headpiece, while the RP-HX35 (now, $29.99) headphones are
lightweight and come in five colors. Frequency range for the latter model is
listed at 10Hz to 25kHz.  

Panasonic also debuted
three ear bud models. The RP-HJE355 ($May, $39.99) features an ErgoFit design,
cord adjuster and slider, and a choice of four colors. The RP-HJE295 (now,
$29.99) has a 2-foot cod with an included 2-foot, and comes in five colors. The
RP-HJE140 (now, $19.99) boasts an L-shaped design and six color combinations.

Further technical
details about the headphones weren't available at posting.
