The NT400 features a color
touch- sensitive interface that allows easy navigation through multiple menus,
including a camera screen that displays live video feeds and captured images

Other NT400 features

for managing messages on the phone’s screen; a contacts screen that displays
contact information in a format that can be manipulated to the user’s
preference; a call log screen with caller ID data for incoming, outgoing and
missed calls; a calls screen that shows handling options for connected calls
(record, conference, transfer, etc.); a chat screen for sending and receiving
text messages to and from other NT400 users; and a company portal screen that
enables business users to access delivery schedules, order-tracking software
and other intranet applications while speaking with a customer.

The NT400 supports
wireless Bluetooth headsets and features 48 programmable soft keys, an Easy
Navigation Key for one-touch access to phone functions and power over Ethernet
capability, which allows data and electrical power to be transmitted over an
Ethernet cable.

Connections include two
Ethernet ports, a USB port, an SD card slot and a headset jack.

“The Panasonic KX-NT400
IP network phone provides a wealth of features that simply you don’t expect
from a telephone, including most notably the ability to view network-camera
video feeds right on the phone’s screen,” said Bill Taylor, president of
Panasonic System Networks Company of America. “For business users, the NT-400
enhances productivity from the back office to your home office, providing a
flexible and reliable way to manage your business and personal contacts, check
work applications, view network camera feeds and much more.”

The suggested retail price of the KX-NT400 is
$832.50. The phone’s features are being demonstrated in booth 3235 during CEDIA
Expo.
