Panasonic Bows 16GB SDHC

Secaucus, N.J. — Panasonic announced it will release a 16GB Pro High Speed SDHC memory card in November.

The RP-SDV16GU1K will have an estimated retail of $319. It features a data transfer rate of up to 20MBps and a Speed Class 6 rating.

High-definition recording (MPEG-4 AVC/H.264) in the following modes include: Fine mode (13Mbps/CBR), approximately 160 minutes; Normal mode (9Mbps/VBR) approximately 240 minutes; and Economy mode (6Mbps / VBR) approximately 360 minutes.

The 16GB model joins the Pro High Speed lineup which offers four other models: 1GB, 2GB, 4GB and 8GB.
