Center Valley, Pa. –
said Monday it is now selling underwater camera equipment, binoculars and other
products through outdoor sporting goods distributor Indian Valley Distribution,
based in Harleysville, Pa.
Indian Valley has become a major player in the distribution of
underwater imaging systems to dive centers throughout North America.
Olympus said Indian Valley will focus on carrying its underwater
cameras and binoculars, considered “niche segments” of Olympus’ accessory
business.
“It is important for Olympus to identify partners who share our
same goals and have the ability to provide our customers with first-class
service, support and a distribution network,” said John McGuire, Olympus senior
marketing manager. “Indian Valley Distribution clearly complies with the
stringent criteria we identified to promote our outdoor products effectively
and to allow Olympus to move the business forward in this key strategic channel,”
he added.
The Indian Valley family of companies was established in 2003
with the premise of being “deliberately different.”
The company started with the launch of Indian Valley Scuba, which
was distinguished for offering a broad multi-agency array of training opportunities,
along with carrying a wide range of product lines to offer a “one-stop”
shopping experience for customers.
