O’Neal Exits Philips Unit; McIlmail To Become CEO

Clifton, N.J. — Michael O’Neal, CEO of Philips Accessories, is leaving the company to become CEO of Team Products International, based in Mountain Lakes, N.J., which sells licensed hardware, sporting goods, cleaning and CE products.

O’Neal joined Gemini Accessories, which was acquired by Philips in September 2004 and then was renamed, as president/CEO in 1999. He will leave the company officially by March 3.

Replacing O’Neal as CEO will be Glenn McIlmail, who is currently operations executive VP. He joined the former Gemini Accessories operation in March 1997.

A Philips spokesperson noted, “Mike was vital in the acquisition, transitioning Gemini to Philips Accessories. We wish him all the best.”
