Port Washington, N.Y. - The NPD Group has named Perry James as senior VP of its office supplies and non-games software business.
James was previously office supplies business director of NPD.
In his new role, James will continue to build the office supplies business, as well as oversee the development and execution of business plans and strategies, sales, and client relations for NPD's non-games software business.
"Perry has been an integral part of NPD for 14 years and successfully launched NPD's office supplies business in 2007," said Dennis Brown, NPD's group president.
James said in a statement, "NPD non-games software business is one-of-a-kind, offering the only retail point-of-sale tracking information in the industry and I am very pleased to be working with the non-games software teams. NPD's information allows us to assist our clients in making informed and accurate business decisions regarding marketing, resources and performance."
