Albuquerque, N.M. — Novint Technologies announced the availability of the Novint Falcon game controller. The company is hailing it as the first hi-fi, three-dimensional interactive touch device for the home PC.
It is designed to allow users to feel weight, shape, texture, dimension, dynamics, 3D motion and force effects when playing enabled games. Novint will begin shipping a limited-edition Falcon bundle on June 18. The bundle has a suggested retail of $239 and is currently available for a special preorder price of $189 at www.novintfalcon.com, while supplies last.
The bundle will include a Novint Falcon limited-edition game controller, a standard Novint Falcon grip, a limited-edition Novint Falcon grip, USB cable, user manual, Newton’s Monkey Business Game Pack, Feelin’ It: Sports Pack Game Pack, installation CD and the company’s download service that allows users to purchase expanded versions of all 24 mini games and other touch-enabled games and drivers. Also featured in the bundle is the Falcon First Club lifetime membership, which gives members special discounts, opportunities to participate in forums, product testing and downloads. A numbered certificate of authenticity is also included.
The Novint Falcon connects to a PC through a USB port and the base measures 9 inches by 9 inches.
