Boulder, Colo. – Software maker Novatix, released SendPhotos Gold, which the company claimed speeds up the process of e-mailing digital images.
SendPhotos Gold automatically inserts pictures into the body of custom-designed emails, eliminating attachments and making delivery up to 25 times faster, the company said in a statement.
In addition, SendPhotos’ technology shrinks the file size of an image, reducing the time it takes to download. Other software features include customizable backgrounds for emails, cropping, red-eye removal, adjustable brightness and contrast levels, and uploading to a Web site.
The software supports the JPEG, TIFF, GIF, BMP, Kodak and Adobe standard image file formats and works with any email program, including Yahoo and Hotmail, and integrates fully with Outlook 2000/XP and Outlook Express.
The software is available now for a suggested retail price of $19.95.
