Nikon Teams With N.Y. Mets

Melville, N.Y. — Nikon announced that it will sponsor the 2005 New York Mets baseball team.

For the second year in a row, Nikon will bedeck Shea Stadium with advertising in addition to placing ads on the Mets’ radio station, WFAN.

As part of the sponsorship, Nikon will support Team Photo Day by distributing team photos of the 2005 Mets to game attendees. The company will also host a Nikon youth clinic where 125 children will get the chance to hit the field with several Mets players and coaches for baseball instructions.

Each child will even get to take home a 4-inch by 6-inch picture of them posing with the players, courtesy of Nikon.
