Port Richey, Fla. –
NextGen introduced a pair of 3D glasses that it said works with virtually any
brand of 3DTV that uses active technology.
The Active glasses
($79.95 suggested retail) can reportedly be charged with a standard USB cable. Bob
Dolatowski, NextGen’s president, said a three-hour charge lasts about 50 hours.
They only work
with active-shutter 3D technology, a spokesman told TWICE.
Shipping is
scheduled to begin Aug. 1. A case and lens cleaner are also included.
