New Edge Memory Cards Push SDHC Capacity

Dallas — Flash-memory marketer Edge Tech announced two new SDHC cards and a new card reader today.

The SDHC cards feature a Class 6 speed rating, the highest available, for transferring images at 6MB/s.

They will be available in 4GB and 8GB capacities for a suggested $84.95 and $134, respectively. Both cards will be bundled with a card reader that supports SDHC cards, xD, Memory Stick, CompactFlash and miniSD.

The reader will also be sold separately for a suggested $24.95.
