Las Vegas - Netgear today revamped its line of storage and
networking products, including the Stora home media server.

The
company also expanded its digital media line with the introduction of the EVA9100
Digital Entertainer Express, two new wireless N routers and a powerline
networking HDTV adapter kit.

The
MS2110 Stora acts is a network attached storage device with easier remote
access capability, said Drew Meyer, Netgear's director of marketing for network
storage solutions. The Stora features the ability to back up most media types
from any connected device connected to the home network.

It
can also stream over the home network, or Internet if remotely connected, 1080p
video.

The
base version of the Stora comes with a 1TB hard disk and an extra drive bay
that can hold an additional 1TB disk.

It is available now for $229.

The new
EVA 9100 Digital Entertainer Express is the third member of Netgear's digital
media players. It allows consumers to stream 1080p video over a home network
for playback on an HDTV. It is available now with a $229 suggested retail
price.

The
two new routers are compatible with 3G/4G/WiMAX cellular networks and can
create an instant Wi-Fi hotspot via a cellular system when there no
conventional Internet connection available, the company reported.

The new
3G/4G Mobile Broadband Wireless-N Router (MBRN3000)
and the Wireless-N 300 Router with DSL Modem - Mobile Broadband Edition
(DGN2200M) offers dual Wide Area Network options. The MBRN3000 will ship in March
with a $149 suggested retail price and the DGN2200M will follow in April at
$179.

The
powerline kits are the XAVB2001 Powerline 200 AV Adapter Kit and the XAVB2501
Powerline 200 AV+ Adapter Kit, the latter features a filtered pass through
power socket. Both devices are about 50 percent smaller then Netgear's previous
models, said Chris Geiser, the company's product marketing manager.

The adapters
can deliver HD quality video over a home's powerlines negating the need to run Ethernet,
Geiser said. The XAVB2001 Powerline 200 AV is available now with a $149
suggested retail price. The kit contains two adapters. Additional single
adapters are available for $79.

The XAVB2501
Powerline 200 AV+ also has a pair of adapter with a $169 suggested retail
price, single adapters cost $89.
