NECO Elects New Officers

Mashantucket, Conn.  — The NECO Alliance, the $1.3 billion Northeast buying cooperative, has elected Mike Napoletano president and Vito Blandi VP.

Napoletano previously served as NECO’s coordinator, and continues in his 33-year role as president of Appliance Dealers Co-Op (ADC), the group’s New Jersey chapter.

In his new position, he will oversee all NECO operations and will lead strategic initiatives with the group’s other chapter presidents, including Blandi, who heads Intercounty; Vincent Capuano of DMI; and Steve Moran of NEAG.

Napoletano and Blandi will also work with NECO treasurer David Aitoro and executive director Anthony Bruno.

“We are fortunate to have such highly qualified and dedicated leadership and are confident that our members will continue to benefit from their excellent guidance,” the group said in a statement.

The election was held earlier this month during the group’s annual dealer convention at Foxwoods Resort Casino.

NECO represents 700 independent CE and appliance dealers and itself is a chapter of the $14 billion Nationwide Marketing Group.
