Nationwide Well-Received At Furniture Show

High Point, N.C. – Nationwide Marketing Group (NMG) reports that
its Furniture Smart division’s exhibit booth was well received by attendees at
last week’s High Point Furniture Market.

Dealers stopped by to learn about exclusive member programs with
leading furniture manufacturers, the buying group said, which included special
pricing, rebates, guaranteed freight rates, quick-ship programs and marketing
solutions.

“Furniture Smart maintains a strong presence in the industry so
we are always in a position to keep our membership informed of the industry’s
latest trends,” said Bill Bazemore, executive director of the NMG division.

Bill Caples, sales and marketing VP of furniture maker Twin-Star
International, concurred. “Furniture Smart provides solutions for independent
dealers so they operate on a level playing field with the major retailers and
have a stronger presence in the furniture industry. In return, dealers know
that as a partner of Furniture Smart we are a legitimate company to work with.”

Bazemore said hot categories at the show included sectionals,
entertainment consoles and motion upholstery, and that “With all the major
manufacturers at the market there was tremendous value to be had, allowing
independents to be ready for a strong holiday season.”

Visitors to the Furniture Smart booth also participated in an iPad
giveaway promotion that was won by recent group members Moeiz and Silvana
Merali of Furniture Marketplace in Greenville, S.C.
