NARDA Names New Members To Board

Lombard, Ill. - The North American Retail Dealers Association (NARDA) elected new officers and directors to its board of directors.

The new NARDA Chairman is Michael Corder of Hod’s Home Theater, Waterford, Mich., and Michael Fischer, of Nielsen’s, Spencer, Iowa, will be immediate past chairman.

Randy Whitehead, of Service West, Salt Lake City, remains first vice chairman. Leon Barbachano, of Allen and Peterson Kitchen and Appliance, Anchorage, Ak will hold the second vice chairman post.

Timothy Seavey, of Seavey Furniture and Appliance, Windham, Me., and NARDA’s treasure is Robert Cremer of Aronson Furniture, Electronics and Appliances, Chicago.

Newly elected to the board are David Borsani, of Complete Home Appliance Service, Warrensville Heights, Ohio, and Michael Grimes, of G.H. Home Furnishings, Charleston, Mo. These directors will join hold over board members Garey Alimia, of A-1 Home Appliance Center, Harvey, La., Larry Clark, of The Music Store, Greenfield, Mass., and Ivins Popkins, of Furniture Fair, Jacksonville, N.C.

Barry Behr, regional deployment manager for Whirlpool and don Wrhel, manager of industry programs for GE Consumer Finance are on NARDA’s advisory board.
