London – Component-audio supplier Musical Fidelity hired a new U.S. national sales manager and appointed two new rep companies for the Northwest and Mid-Atlantic regions.
Phoenix-based CE veteran Randy Bingham has been appointed North American national sales manager. Redmond, Wash.-based Ambassador Marketing has begun representing the brand in Idaho, Alaska, Washington and Oregon. Philadelphia-based Aurora Group has been tapped as the company’s sales representative in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, Virginia and Washington, DC.
Also in the works are “several new products” over the next six to nine months, said Musical Fidelity founder and president Antony Michaelson.
Before joining the British company, Bingham, a 30-year CE veteran, spent three years with Ultralink/XLO as director of sales. He was also Krell national sales manager for three years, and he was sales and marketing VP at Sunfire for 10 years.
“We plan to focus more on our core dealers and raising the bar to new heights for all of our Musical Fidelity customers,” Bingham said.
Music Fidelity was founded in 1982 and has been doing business in the U.S. since 1983. It specializes in audio components, preamps, headphones and digital-to-analog converters.
