San Diego – Munitio
introduced the next iteration of its high-end earphones, the Siti: Nine
Millimeter.
These earphones feature
titanium-coated housings, compared with the company’s previous gold-plated
earphones, and are available in gold and silver. When the Siti versions were
being designed, Robert Benjamin, Munitio product specialist, told TWICE, the
company took “an approach from the very beginning [as if] we were designing a
race car.”
“We tried to create a really bold aesthetic design
from the inside of it,” he added. “I think that will differentiate us [from
other headphones manufacturers] initially. We’re designing a really high-end
men’s or women’s accessory.”
Features include neodymium
9mm drivers and several of the company’s design technologies, including the
BassEnhancingChamber, AccousticSoundFlowSystem and noise-isolating
SiliconeHollowPoints. Frequency response is listed at 12Hz to 22,000Hz.
They’re currently
available through the company website at $159 and will also be sold through
boutique CE retailers, Benjamin said, with larger retailers expected to be
added in the future.
