As a result, Monster will use HES as its
primary distributor for specialty retail, officially beginning at CEDIA 2011 in
September.

As part of the partnership, Monster said it's creating a customized
version of its M5 training program for HES retailer members. It will still
conduct direct business with retailers.

Monster also announced at the Consumer Electronics Association
(CEA) Line Shows event, held here this week, that its new iSport headphone line
would soon have a high-profile athlete as the face of the product, although an
actual name was not provided.

The iSport headphones are geared toward athletes and can be worn
while swimming or tossed in a washing machine after use, which was demonstrated
during the press conference. They come in black or blue for $179 and are part
of Monster's Immersion line. Lee said more products can be expected out of the
line in the future.

Lee used the event to introduce the company's newest CE cleaning
product, the CleanTouch Pen ($24.95), which features cleaning solution directly
in the applicator's tip. He also showed off the recently announced Earth, Wind
& Fire headphones, the Gratitude model, which will be available in
September for $229.
