Monster Cable Honors Retail Partners

Las Vegas — P.C. Richard and Son, the regional New York specialty chain, took the top honor, the Gold Award, at last night’s Monster Cable Awards presentations at the Paris Hotel. Monster honored more than 80 of its most-productive national and international retailers and retail salespeople, based on sales volume of Monster products.

The top-level honorees, given “Most Monsterous” awards, were, as follows:

Most Monsterous E-Commerce Retailer: Wild West Electronics, Edmond, Okla.

Most Monsterous CI Integrator: Baumeister Audio Video, Niles, Ill.

Most Monsterous Audio/Video Independent Specialist Retailer: Schaefer’s TV, Lincoln, Neb.

Most Monsterous Audio/Video Independent Specialist Chain: Sixth Avenue Electronics City, Springfield, N.J.

Most Monsterous Power Retailer: P.C. Richard and Son, Farmingdale, N.Y.

Most Monsterous International Retailer: Future Shop, Burnaby, British Columbia

Global Gold Award: Comet Group, Rickmansworth, United Kingdom

The gala featured a concert by multi-Grammy Award winner and Geffen recording artist Mary J. Blige, “the queen of hip-hop soul.”
