MINI Offers HD Radio

Woodcliff Lake, N.J. — MINI USA is now offering a factory-installed digital HD-Radio receiver with FM multicasting capability in 2007 MINI Cooper and Cooper S hardtops, produced from June 2007.

The radio will be offered as an option for a suggested retail of $500 or as part of an audio package that includes a lifetime subscription to Sirius for $1,400.

MINI joins its sister brand, BMW, to be only one of two automotive brands to currently offer HD Radio, said the company.

Presently more than 1,300 stations broadcast in HD Radio.
