Microsoft Debuts Newest Touch Mouse

Seattle – Microsoft has
added to its Touch line of mice with the addition of the Explorer Touch.

The wireless Explorer
Touch is engineered with a touch strip with horizontal and vertical scrolling
that’s designed to respond to touches, flicks and finger swipes. Other features
include an 18-month battery life, five customizable buttons, a two-color
battery indicator and BlueTrack technology.

According to Microsoft,
BlueTrack enables users to mouse on nearly any type of surface, including
granite, carpet and wood. It does not work on clear glass or mirrors.

It will be available in
September for $49.95 in four colors: Coal Black, Storm Gray, Sangria Red and
Rust Red.
