Irvine, Calif. — Linksys has appointed Greg Memo to the position of VP/GM of the company’s consumer group.
Memo will handle worldwide product and market development and engineering for its consumer product line. He starts his new position effective Nov. 1. While Memo’s job is not a direct replacement, he will oversee many of the same functions formerly done by Malachy Moynihan, who will move back to Linksys’ parent organization Cisco.
Previously, Memo was senior VP of products, marketing and Web for Gateway Computer and prior to that he held positions at Compaq Computer, Apple and Alta Vista.
