Fair Lawn, N.J. — Digital media products maker Maxell Corporation of America has named Daniel Lee marketing, advertising and sales support VP.
Lee, a veteran of the consumer electronics industry for over a decade prior to joining Maxell, most recently had been director of marketing communications at LG Electronics U.S.A., based in Englewood Cliffs, N.J. There he played a prominent role in the Korean company’s entrance into the U.S. CE and major appliance industries.
Previously, Lee managed sales and marketing for Hanssem, a manufacturer of household hardware products.
“Maxell is fortunate to have acquired the services of an executive with Mr. Lee’s depth and breadth of experience,” said Hideaki Numoto, president of Maxell. “His background with a major brand in a wide variety of product categories will help us to shape our marketing messages and continue to build on the strength of the Maxell brand.”
Lee will have responsibility for marketing, advertising, public relations and sales support in the consumer, data and professional product groups.
