Union, N.J. — Maingear unveiled the Axess HD Gamer today, a luxury-level gaming PC for the living room.
The company said the computer is intended to help it fit into a home-theater setup through both its industrial design and technological setup. This includes a Phantom Lapboard keyboard so the user can operate the PC from the couch.
Specifications for the basis model include Intel Core i7 processors, an Intel X58 chipset, dual Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT graphics and up to 12GB of DDR3 memory; storage is either a solid-state drive or up to 2TB of conventional hard-drive storage.
