Fremont, Calif. — Logitech announced the Alto cordless notebook stand today.
The stand features a notebook display riser; cordless keyboard; and a multipurpose, three-port, high-speed USB hub. The riser is designed to elevate the notebook display to the optimal viewing distance, while the cordless full-size keyboard includes a numeric pad and padded palm rest.
It works with notebooks up to 15.4 inches in size, and the tablet angle of the expansion base is 45 degrees. Computers must have Windows XP or Vista, and some USB devices with high power requirements may require an external power adapter (available for $19.99), said Logitech.
The Alto cordless notebook stand is expected to be available beginning in September with a suggested retail of $99.99.
